Mabel Violet Johnson

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mabel Violet Johnson on April 9th 2018 after a long illness. Mabel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Mabel was born in Huxley, AB on March 31st 1942 by Odelia and Edward Stankevich. She lived in Strathmore, AB until her death. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, April 17th at 1:00pm at Strathmore Alliance Church, 325 1 Ave, Strathmore AB.

We have only known Mabel for a few years - connection for us is Strathmore Alliance Church. we grew to love & appreciate her over the years. She was always willing to visit with us as new comers. She was a Face book friend & she loved when I (Virginia) made up collages of her & especially of her family. We will miss her smile. I want to give my condolences to Mabel's family. She was always so cheerful and a good neighbour. I have lived next door to her for almost ten years and she always gives you a nice smile and welcome. She will be sadly missed by many friends. Such a lovely lady! God Bless you all. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Mabel's passing, I have been thinking of her continuously the last few days, and was hoping she was well. May she Rest in Peace. I was able to work with Mabel for a year only before she retired nd she was a fantastic person to work with and know. She will be dearly missed.
