JOHNSON, Beverly

Beverly Ann Johnson, nee Miller, passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Born July 17, 1947 in Melville, SK, she was the daughter of Emma Clara Miller and John Rheinholdt Miller. Bev is survived by her three children, Tricia Dawn Knox, Perveen Matas, and Robert Kenneth Johnson; five grandchildren, Luke, Daniel, Matthew, Bradly and Ryan; her sisters, Sharon Eileen Herndon, Patricia Dawn Hnatiuk, Barbara Carol McKay; and her brother, John Duncan Scott Miller.

A professional hairdresser for many years, even owning her own shop for a time, Bev had a keen interest in esthetics. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and decorating. She relished simple pleasures, some of her favorite things being hot sunny days, a brisk walk, snacking on garden fresh peas and a good cup of coffee. All who knew Bev found her gracious, well-mannered, thoughtful and kind.
