RUTLEDGE, John Wayne

Passed away on October 16, 2026, at Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Vancouver, Wayne was a quiet, gentle soul, yet quick-witted and fiercely loyal—always the light of the room. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Wayne survived by his loving wife Erika; children Clark (Rhonda), Peter (Shelley); Heidi (John), and his beloved grandchildren Ashley, Chelsea, Harrison, Spencer, Anita, and Anjali; and great granddaughter Lexus. Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue (Abbotsford, BC), where his beloved dog Daisy was adopted from, would be appreciated
