John Green

March 7, 1982 – August 29, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Green, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away far too soon at the age of 44.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Morgan, and their two sons, Edwin and Henry, who were the absolute centre of his world. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents Helen and Joseph, parents, Katherine and Joseph, his brother Scott and wife Kathryn, his nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.

John was a devoted husband and an incredible father. He loved spending time with his family and was happiest when they were together. He embraced every part of fatherhood, from sleepless nights and messy diapers to camping trips, family adventures, drawing chalk art, playing video games, and simply being with his boys.

John and his brother Scott shared an especially close bond. Born just ten months apart, they were lifelong companions who shared countless laughs, video games, fantasy football, Oktoberfest celebrations, and hours of conversations.

John loved adventure and had a wonderful zest for life. He enjoyed hiking, camping, travel, movies, Lego, Minecraft, video games, football, and discovering and sharing random facts. He was also a prankster with a mischievous sense of humour who had an incredible ability to make the people around him laugh.

Those who knew John will remember his infectious smile, loyalty, protectiveness, generosity, and his wonderful sense of humour. Most of all, they will remember how deeply he loved his family and how deeply he was loved in return.

To his family, John was more than a husband and father. He was their best friend, their partner, their greatest supporter, and their home.

He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
