We miss you Elaine. For the last 21 years we were neighbours and then developed a respectful, caring relationship. Elaine will be remembered in so many ways. She was loyal and generous to her family and friends, always making time for conversations and being a thoughtful “listener “. Elaine was passionate about her professional life, providing excellent counseling for students and clients. Our family will always appreciate her work with one of our family members. Elaine was such fun to be with; gatherings were entertaining and vibrant. Many conversations became heated debates on all issues such as politics, sex, religion and life in general. Nothing was ever off limits. We will always have Elaine in our hearts; missing her vibrant personality, fashion flair and the “character shoes”. ~ Pat and Ray Stauffer

I am an old ( both physically and experienced) teacher that had the great pleasure to work with Elaine. She made my professional life that much better with her positive support, humour, fab style choices, kickass shoes, and dam fine testing and recommendations. We lived a block away from her house on Pasqua and would share the occasional ride out of town to the school where I worked. Intuitive and a straight shooter. She made me laugh. I am so very sorry. Know that she was highly respected both professionally and personally. ~ Pat Lark
