It’s with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our dearly loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, John Jacobs, on Friday, August 26, 2016 in Red Deer at the age of 87 years. Mourning John’s loss along with his beloved wife Paula are their three children, Clarke Jacobs and Garth Jacobs (both of Edmonton, AB), and Cathy (Trevor) Curr (Cochrane, AB); 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his last remaining sibling, Lil (Walt) Woolley (Goldendale, WA); 33 nieces and nephews; a vast number of direct descendants; as well as many life-long companions and friends.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at:
Red Deer Elks Hall (B.P.O.E. No. 85), 6315 Horn Street
Red Deer, AB on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 2 pm.

Paula, I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. My sincerest heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I got to know John when we bowled together a year ago and enjoyed his smile and wit! I am sorry I just could not make it to his Celebration of Life. Perhaps when you find the time later on, you and I can have a visit over a cup of tea or coffee. God Bless.
