It is with great sadness that we announce that Terence Warren Idt, dearly beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the age of 64 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Terry was predeceased by his parents Irvin and Irene; brother-in-law Brian Brecht. Terry is survived by his wife Michelle; daughters Desiree, Christie (John), Jenny (Jordan), and Megan (Joey); grandkids Kadence, Riley, and Nova. He is also survived by his sisters Iris (Brian), Barb (Mike), Bev, and Debra; brothers Ivan (Hazel), Vern (Corrine), and Byron (Donna); brother-in-law Dennis (Maria); sister-in-law Donna (Harvey); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
Terry was born on November 25, 1951 in Moose Jaw, SK and lived in Chaplin, Calgary, and Regina. He worked for Dominion Bridge, Co-op Refinery, and Dyna Holdings as a welder for numerous years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, music, playing pool, and ball room dancing. Terry loved his weekly meat draws, Bacardi Gold, and his dog “Bacardi”. He was known for his helpful and giving nature to anyone who needed it. Above all he cherished his family and friends and enjoyed the time he spent with those he loved.
A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm, in the Caledonian Curling Club, 2225 Sandra Schmirler Way, Regina, SK.
