Charles is survived by his brother, Harold; sisters, Katherine Stevenson, Helen Thomas, June Somers, Victoria Sheehy, Pauline James. Charles will be laid to rest in Queen’s Park Cemetery Field of Honor.

I remember Charlie very well.He used to take me duck hunting when I was a young teenager.I still have a German officer's decorative knife that he had liberated at the end of World War II. Charlie's sister, Alberta, was a wonderful aunt to my sister Wendie and myself. She was also a dear and enduring friend to my mother Evelyn. I well remember hanging out with Vicky and Pauline at the family home in Crescent Heights. It's nice to see so many of the family are still around ~ Bob Hodge
