On Thursday, February 21, 2013 Leona, age 90 years, passed away quietly with her son and daughter by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Arnold, Leona is survived by her son Larry (Marj), daughter Leslie (Chris), her beloved grandchildren Renae (Lance), Kyla (Greg), Shannon (Carl), Kirsten (John), Clay (Leeann), Lindsey (Greg), and 12 great grandchildren. Leona was a gentle soul and will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. Special thanks to all the staff and her friends at Parkside Extendicare for the kindness extended to our mother and grandmother during her stay. At Leona’s request, there will be no funeral service.
