It is with deep regret that Ivan’s family has had to say their good-byes. Ivan passed away suddenly in his home on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 63 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his loving wife, Diane; sons, Kelly Vankosky (Bernadette), Cory Vankosky (Corinne) and Shannon Hunt (Roxann); grandchildren, Candice (Jordan), Braden (Kattrina), Kelsey, Dalton, Payton, Connor, Chase, Alyssa, Brody, Rowen; great granddaughter, Kaige;  Mother, Ruth; siblings, Marilyn, Jim, Cliff, Gary, Jody, Dennis, Gloria, Berry, Wendy and their significant others; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ivan was predeceased by his Father, Ed and Brother, Dale. 

Ivan was born and raised in Mayerthorpe, Alberta to Ed and Ruth Hunt. Ivan was a truck driver who specialized in over dimensional loads, until recently when he moved into the role of piloting. This gave Ivan the opportunity to supervise and help mold and support the industy’s younger generation. He remained in the industry as a well-known and very well respected man.

A Celebration of Ivan’s Life will be held at the Town and Country Centre, #103, 275 Jensen Drive NE, Airdrie, AB on Monday,  November 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
