Hi everyone; I'm not sure if I am able to make it out to the open house until I check in at work this coming week. If not, you know that I'm thinking of all of you! It was great being able to speak with Brian and Karen lately, as I've always felt like the other sister in this family. I have very, very many fond memories of Aunty Marg and just the other day was thinking of all of the trips Debbie and I used to make to Regina growing up and then when we were allowed to take the bus. Your mom always made sure we had a lunch to go back to Edmonton with and she always, always put specific treats to each of us, like my hot tamales in our surprise packages. She always said, you can't open these until you are out of Regina, well needless to say, I listened, but just till the outskirts! Lots of love, hugs Julie

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Auntie Marg. I have many special memories of the times when you lived in the White Rock area and we would spend time on the base with you. May your love and memories of what a great mom you had sustain you all at this time. She is now with Uncle Harry and Alan. I know you are going to miss her a lot. Hi Brian and family - I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. I loved both your Mom and Dad - and not just because they had the same names as my Mom and Dad! - but because they were always so kind and welcoming whenever I was around. And I know they were like that with everyone. And I know that now they will be happy together again. Jim

Brian, 'Little' Karen and Families - Doug called to say your Mom had passed away. It is always sad to hear another loved one is gone. I am so sorry - I know you will miss her. As 'Big' Karen said - we have very fond memories of visiting you in Ladner at the base, the Christmas the boys received new bikes that had been hidden in the laundry room and Alan (aka firebug) burning paper with his magnifying glass as the sun shone through his bedroom window! Many changes over the years - Mom has been gone 24 years and Dad 3 years - some days it seems like yesterday and often feels like forever. Your Mom had a life well lived - how precious is that. Sending love and hugs....

Dear Brian, Karen & families.....As everyone has already mentioned, it would be a challenge to find a sweeter, kinder, woman than your mom....I am so grateful, for the most recent phone call I had with her. What an incredible memory that woman had !!!.....We chatted for over an hour, & had many good laughs about several stories of years gone by......My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this difficult time......Big Hug.......Doug......
