Obituary for Ruth Ann Hisey

On March 6th around 12 noon Ruth Ann Hisey went home to be with her Heavenly Father and Saviour Jesus Christ. She took her last breath with her husband John at her bedside holding her hand. Ruth had fought Pulmonary Fibrosis since she was diagnosed in 2011. She was at the Langley Memorial Hospital in British Columbia when she passed away.

Ruth was 78 years old and born on July 11th, 1946. She left behind her loving husband John, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Ruth was a caring and kind mother who loved her son Christopher and his partner Steven, her daughter Kelly Ann and her husband Brad and her two grandsons Grayson and Wesley.

Ruth lost her two younger brothers Phil and Martin (Hutchinson) to the same lung disease in recent years. She leaves behind her two loving sisters Francie and her husband Ken Wideman and Doris and her husband John Thompson. She is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Olive Hutchinson.

Messages of Condolence

Dear John, Chris and Kelly, I am deeply sorry for your loss. As we know that the child of God has such wonderful hope for the future because of what Christ has accomplished and we will see our loved ones again. I was reading the story of the woman Jesus healed in Mark 5:34 and in a different situation I thought of Ruth when Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed."
