Harry passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 and is now with our Heavenly Father.He will be lovingly remembered by Vivienne, his wife of 54 years as well as other family and friends.

Harry’s music career spanned 40 years. He performed with the CPO, ESO, and Banff School of Fine Arts, and also community, concert and military bands. He also taught clarinet and various instruments. Harry also managed a family business until 2016.

A Prayer Service will be held at St Luke’s Catholic Church,1566 Northmount Dr. NW Calgary, AB on Thursday, May12, 2016 at 8:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Our family is grateful to the Palliative Care team that were so attentive to Harry’s needs. Thank you all.

To Vivian, Stephen, Rose and Family I am so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. I just saw the notice. I did not hear of any arrangements from the K of C. I know the pain of loss and I am sad I did not know so I could attend the mass. My prayers are with you.

I wasn't aware that Harry was gone, and am saddened to hear it. Harry and I met in the KOCR band and became good friends and fellow musicians; he was a kind, gentle man and an extremely fine musician. We played many a gig, and enjoyed great conversation and camaraderie over a few libations. Harry and sons also did more than one roof for me, and he was equally and justifiably proud of his work there as well. My condolences to Vivienne and family for your great loss.
