David Neville Hewitt

Dave Hewitt of Airdrie passed away suddenly on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the age of 75 years.  He will be fondly remembered by his wife Kathleen of 53 years; daughter Susan and son David Michael (Lise);  3 precious grandchildren Miranda, Heather and Thomas; and adopted daughter Cheryl.  Dave is also survived by 3 brothers Peter (Jean), Jack  and Leslie (Chris); and brother-in-law Ron.  He was predeceased by his sister Barbara on June 14, 2012.  Dave was born in England and came to Canada in 1975 where he worked in the oiland gas industry as an Electrical Engineer.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.  A Funeral Service will be held at St. Clement’s Anglican Church (Balzac) on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:30 pm.  Interment to follow at Airdrie Cemetery.  Donations may be made in David’s memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Suite 100 , 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
