Herbert E. Herunter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Herbert E. Herunter. Herb passed away peacefully in his 83rd year, in the early morning of August 30th, 2019 at Lions Gate Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Reta, his sons Herb and Tony, his daughters in law, Susan and Sandie and his grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Tomas and Madelaine. Herb was a shrewd businessman, a dedicated family man and a great friend to many. He was also a tried and true Edmonton Oilers fan for which his family long ago forgave him. He loved to spend time with the people he loved. A special note of thanks to Marck Hudon and his family for all their love and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.

To Rita, Herb and Tony, Carol and I want to wish you our sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear Husband and Father to Herb and Tony. We are sure that there are many people who will also miss Herb besides you his family. But we also know that you will all share multiple great memories of all the good times you had together with him and there were many we are sure. Michael and I wish to send our condolences to the family at this sad time. Being close neighbours of Herb and Rita for many years, we had alot in common and used to share experiences regarding our children growing up as our kids were similar ages. Also remember many happy times in Herb and Ritas backyard socializing with all our neighbours for a happy hour, what fun we had on those occasions. We will always remember Herb with his outgoing and friendly personality.
