Jim was predeceased by his parents Herb and Vi and his brother Danny.
He is survived by his two sons, Andrew and Keelen, and his brother Brian. Jim's extended family and friends also share this loss.
At this time, there will be no funeral service.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Jim and his family.I worked with Jim for about 20 years and he was a one-of-a-kind person and a very colourful character.His passions were music, playing the guitar and teaching guitar and also history and he left a lasting mark on all of his music students with not just his teaching but also with his personality.Jim is going to be greatly missed but he lived his life his own way and would not have done anything differently.Thanks for everything, Jim and I hope to see you again some day.Mike Vancha ~ Mike Vancha
