April 19, 1924 – August 23, 2015

It is with great sadness that the Henderson family announces the passing of John Donald Henderson (Don) on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 91 years and 4 months.

Don is lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Mary; their children, Doug (Linda), Susan (Albert Oram), Bruce (Lynne), Dixie (Troy Colwell), Kathy, and Jim (Kelly); 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Alberta Mae Blacklock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his sister, Alma Jean Campbell.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at The Tees Agricultural Society Community Hall on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

Seeing the announcement of Don's passing brought back so many memories of happy days spent at Heatherbrook. I never minded his constant ribbing knowing it came from the kindest of souls.
