Helen Marie Wanhella

With heavy hearts we share that our mother passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025. 

Mom was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 14, 1938.  She moved to Vancouver at an early age and met her future husband Bill.  They were married on October 8, 1955 and had four daughters.  Mom was a homemaker providing love and the best cooking that all enjoyed.

Mom was predeceased by our father Bill, and sons-in-law Reini, Joe and Jim.

Survived by her daughters Sharon, Debbie(Drake), Brenda(Keith), Wendy.

Her precious grandchildren Rick(Andria), Matt(Kelsie), Lesley(Bobby), Lisa, Jade(Rhys) and Sam. Great grandchildren Declan, Lucas, Justin, Liam, Hunter, Oliver, Emma, Logan and one on the way.

Survived by her sisters Thelma(Fred) and Carol(Tony), and many cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in law, brothers-in law, and friends.

Special thanks to the Chartwell Carrington staff, and nurse Nina and Dr. Manocha for their kind care of Mom.

We will miss and love you forever Mom. Give Dad a big hug for us.
