Bev (beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend) passed away peacefully, on her own terms, at Foothills Medical Centre after a long battle with illness, her family at her side.
Married to the love of her life, best friend and companion, Roy, for 34 years, Bev is survived by Roy; their children, Karman (John), Shannon (Paul), Troy (Christie), Kim (Garth); grandchildren, Taylor, Jasmine, Jay, Matthew, and Jonathan; sister, Joyce (Walter); niece, Marcy (Ron); not to mention countless other dear family members and longtime friends. The family would like to thank the FMC Neurology and ICU unit staff, Palliative Care and Special Services rehabilitation teams for their excellent and compassionate care. A special thank you to Neurologists Dr. Chris White and Dr.Brian Klassen, for their ongoing care throughout the years.
A Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held at Foothills United Church, 3803 69 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm, to be followed by a reception at the Bowness Legion, Branch 238, 138 Bowness Ctr. NW, Calgary, AB at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bev’s memory to the Myesthenia Gravis Society of Canada at www.mgcanada.org.
