Alain Hashimoto

Alain Hashimoto passed away, as he wished, at home in November 2020, surrounded by his family.

He lived out his dreams of enjoying the fresh air in the beautiful Fraser Valley. It was a blessing that he was able to spend bountiful time at nature’s doorstep, raising & growing his own food.

He will be missed by his wife of 45 years & their four children, and another four grandchildren, but the family is happy that he was able to live such a fulfilling life.

The family would like to give a special thank you to: Dr Dugdale and team; Dr Yu and team; Dr Hsu and team; and all the additional healthcare workers who helped immensely in keeping him comfortable and able to live such a full life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the oncology department at Ridge Meadows Hospital.

Keiko and family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences from our family to yours at this time of sorrow. I have known Alain since the early 1980s and I was proud to call him friend. He was always a family man first as he would often talk about his family and how much they meant to him. He was also a man of faith and great principles. He had that great sense of humour, quick wit, smile and laugh that was infectious. He will be greatly missed. Take care and stay safe and stay well.
