HARRIS, Louise Doreen

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Louise Doreen Harris nee Braithwaite, announces her passing on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Rockyview General Hospital. She was born in Calgary on December 2, 1929. Doreen is lovingly remembered by her two children, Ted and Bunny (Lloyd); four grandchildren, Reese (Shannon), Drew (Dionne), Laurel (Steve) and Miranda; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Les Harris. A Celebration of Doreen’s Life will be held at a later time and date to be announced.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff of the I.C.U. and Unit 94. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen’s memory to the Calgary Kotobuki Society, 2236 – 29 Street SW, Calgary, AB, T3E 2K2.

Messages of Condolence

We are very shocked and saddened to hear the passing of our very dear friend. Doreen developed a deep kinship with the members of the Kotobuki Society and was loved and respected by all. Whenever we do the Tai Chi exercise with the music provided by Doreen, we will reminded of her generosity, and caring for all Kotobuki members.
