Harlan White

The White, Perrault and Hansen families are saddened by the passing of our father, grandfather and great grandfather Harlan Thomas White on March 21 2025.

Harlan was born in Eskbank, Saskatchewan on Dec 17 1924. At some point they moved to a farm a few miles from Eskbank and Harlan along with his father and brother began their farming careers. After the death of his wife Gloria in 1974 and his mother in 1977 Harlan moved to Regina and began working there. In 1986 Harlan met and married a new love, Eileen, a former nurse.

Harlan was a gentle, kind, loving and good natured man who was loved by all who knew him. He loved children, animals, country music and sports of all kinds. He was a long time Rough Rider fan and his Toronto Blue Jays were precious to him. He also enjoyed mall walking and having coffee gatherings with his friends at the Northgate Mall. He curled and played golf as long as he was physically able. He once made a hole in one and was so proud of the trophy he won!

He celebrated his 100th birthday on Dec 17 2024, surrounded by family and friends.

Harlan was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Hannah White, his wives, Gloria (nee Dallyn) White and Eileen (nee Mebs) White, sons Herbert, Christopher and Anthony, sister Adelaide and brother-in-law Bruce Lotts, brother Bev White and sister-in-law Dot White, and grandson Dustin Perrault.

He is survived by his children Vicki, Anita, Morris (Leah), and Wes (Shelly) and step children Susan and Randy; daughters-in-law Wanda and Donna; grandchildren Daniel (Sidney), Lisa, Meagan, Matthew (Ainsley), Jesse (Alyssa), Matthew, Kolby (Taneal), Kolton (Kristen), Danielle, Lauren, step-grandchildren Cheryl and Stephen, nephew Bruce Lotts and nieces Renee and Laurie Lotts, and several great grandchildren.

Harlan will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A small private ceremony will be held for Harlan on May 10, at 10:00 at the New Hope Lutheran Church located at 370 McIntosh Street N. Regina, SK. A small luncheon will follow.

Messages of Condolence

Harlan was a fine fellow, and 100 is Prairie Strong. The last years have been a tough struggle, although I was glad to see him and Mom got to Travel and enjoy the Blue Jays Golden Years (though maybe not this year yet).  Now I can but remember as I lay awake. ~ Randy Pippus
