Shawna Katherine Louise Hallett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our ever so sweet Shawna Katherine Louise Hallett of Calgary, Alberta.

Shawna was called to her eternal home in heaven on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from the Foothills Hospital, where she had been for several months. Shawna is survived by her parents Gerald and Carol (Skakum) Hallett; sisters, Kathy (Mauro) Manzoni, Kristy Hallett (Brian Haynes); nephews Vincenzo Manzoni and Tristan Haynes; nieces, Alicia, Isabella and Angelina Manzoni; great-niece, Vienna Gialleonardo.

Shawna was surrounded by loving grandparents and many aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.

Anyone who knew Shawna knows that she loves purple, butterflies, puppies, The Young and the Restless, and bingo. We will all miss that twinkle in her eyes and her contagious giggle.

A Celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at the Mahogany Beach Club, 29 Masters Park SE, Calgary, Alberta, in the Banquet Room, on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 1:00pm – 5:00 pm.

On Monday August 20 I was looking out my frot bedroom window reflecting on Shawna and her life since I met her. Her beautiful smile and always thinking of some fun entertainment to have around. Shawna was all about happiness and laughter for everyone, birthday BBQ,s etc. As I reflected, my eyes focused on the small garden and there I noticed 1 purple flower and right next to is 6 white daisies. the thought suddenly came to me purple and white.......Shawna and 6 white Angels to carry her home. I have looked every morning since, they are still there but the daisies are gradually fading. Thinking of you and praying for strength for the whole family.
