Susan Lawson Hallenbeck

(November 13, 1951 - September 20, 2022)

Susan Lawson Hallenbeck was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Margaret Lawson (nee Cameron) and Stewart Lawson. Susan married Peter Hallenbeck, and together they had two children, Taylor and Graham. She was very active in the Presbyterian Church, finding particular joy and talents in singing and music. She was a lively, happy, and generous spirit, full of wonderful stories and many laughs, and made friends wherever she went. Susan is survived by her husband Peter, children Taylor (Ryan), granddaughter Sophie, Graham (Kristianna), and brothers Gordon and David (Donna). In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Cancer Care in Susan’s name.

My heart plummeted when I heard the news! I'm so sorry Peter, Taylor & Graham & families. Susan was a special cousin. We reconnected several years ago & I enjoyed our phone chats since.
