Kris was born in Wallaceburg, Ontario. She was educated in Calgary, Alberta. Kris toured the United States of America and Canada as a stage hypnotist until she was diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic with ALS in 2008. She then resettled in Calgary. Kris is survived by her son, Eric; daughters, Andrea, Anna; & her partner Ralph; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Wayne and Anthony; sisters, Nora and Margit, and 5 nieces and nephews. Kris will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by daughter, Kaytlyn. In Lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the ALS Society of Alberta (7874 10 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8W1).

Messages of Condolence

I remember Kris from a long time ago when she was a hypnotist. I worked with her at many bars and nightclubs over a couple years. We toured BC and Alberta. I always enjoyed her company as she was always upbeat and optimistic, unfortunately Kris did not have an easy life by any means and went thru far more misfortune then the average person. She never deserved any of it. It makes us all realize how lucky we really are. In her obituary it says her daughter Kaitlyn, who I do remember when she was young also passed away.....how did this happen? ~ Dave/David
