HADDOW (nee Scales), Leona Loretta (Lorry)

It is with sadness that the family of Lorry Haddow (Scales) announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Lorry will be lovingly remembered by her son, Bart (Sue); daughter, Shauna (Randy Mayes); grandchildren, Barrett, Emily and Jackson. Lorry was predeceased by her husband, Jack; parents, Joseph and Leona Scales; and siblings Nellie, Edward (Gint), Richard, Dave, Amy, and Twin Alvin (Buck).

A Memorial Service in memory of Lorry will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104, 5108 49 Ave, Innisfail, AB, on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial donations in memory of Lorry to the Innisfail Health Care Auxiliary, 5023 42 St, Innisfail, AB T4G 1A9.

Karen and l send our condolences to Loretta’s family with her passing. I will remember her as a person with a great laugh and smile. When the Scale family moved to Mallaig they had a goat in the back yard which loved tobacco. We got to know Loretta by feeding her goat with cigarette butts we were able to find.
