On Tuesday, January 17, 2017 Werner Guse of Calgary passed away peacefully at home in the company of family. A welder by trade, he was born in 1947 in Lilienthal, Germany and emigrated to Alberta, Canada in 1953. A feisty conversationalist, prolific reader, gardener, and aquarist, he was loved and now sadly missed by his two children, Blaise & Tanner Guse; sister, Friede; surviving brother, Ernie; and all his friends and family.

Messages of Condolence

Sorry to hear of Werners passing, I talked to him last summer at the Macdonald's on 4 th st and 23 Ave last summer. Ed and I rented his parents basement suite in 1965 until we bought the house next door, where we still live. Friede, your daughter Petra (not sure the spelling) used to play with our daughter Twila.
