Charles (Bud) LeRoy Groves

The family of Bud regretfully announce his passing after a brief illness at the age of 84.

Bud was the 2nd born to Jim and Opal, and was the eldest son of six children. He married his beloved wife LaRee on November 2, 1957. Their marriage was fruitful with five children; Brian (Jennifer), Carol (Joe), Sandra, Les (Marilyn) and Leon (Tracey). He was also blessed with six grandchildren; Levy (Sarah), Riley (Veronica), Naomie, Ryan, Logan, (Keirra) and Jay (Joanne) and three great grandchildren; Mason, Jobe, and Jarius.

Bud and LaRee raised their children in Patricia and Stauffer AB. They had many businesses and adventures in life. Until Laree’s passing, they resided in Rocky Mountain House AB. Bud always loved the south, so he came to make his home in Vulcan until his passing.

Bud was predeceased by his wife LaRee and sons Leon and Blaine.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Champion Community Center on Friday September 27, 2013, at 1:00 pm with a private family inurnment to follow.
