GROVER, Ruth

Ruth Irene Grover was born September 9, 1935 in Trochu, AB to Bayse and Myrtle Collins of Delburne, AB. Ruth passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the age of 80 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Grant (Verness); her grandsons, Curtis (Jennifer) and Colin (Lisa); 3 great grandchildren, Kaden, Colton, and Brooklynn; her sister, Plina; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her. Ruth was predeceased by her parents; 3 sisters; and her beloved husband, Stu.

A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at the Red Deer Legion, Br# 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, AB on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations can be made in Ruth’s memory to the charity of the one’s choice. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Red Deer Hospital, especially the Medical day room where she spent much of her time.
