GRIFFIN, Charles William “Bill”

After suffering a spinal cord infection, Bill went to heaven on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Bill was surrounded by his loving family, including wife, Margaret; daughter, Karen; son, Kevin; son-in-law, Murray Friesen; as well as two amazing grandsons, Mark Friesen (wife, Amanda), and Ryan Friesen (fiancée, Lindsay Pack) were by his side. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be on held at Foothills Alliance Church, 333Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Bill’s memory to The Salvation Army, 1731 – 29 Street SW, Calgary, AB, T3C 1M6 would be appreciated.

We are truly sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Bill. It was such a pleasure to see everyone from the college on the Aug. long weekend and I'm so grateful to have visited with Bill at that time. He was such a nice person and he will be missed. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you and hasten the journey of his soul to Heaven.

It's with great sadness to hear the news. Bill & Marg were great friends and support to Thelma and myself during their years in Edmonton. He will missed but remembered fondly by all who knew him. My thoughts are with all the family and especially Marg , Karen and Kevin.
