GREYSON, Laura Mae
November 10, 1933 – February 3, 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Mae Greyson at the Prince of Peace Harbour. Her friendly smile, her sense of humour, her caring attitude and her love for dogs will be sorely missed by her family, relatives, friends and the many people she touched throughout her life. Special thanks to the caregivers, the LPNs and the staff at the Prince of Peace for their kindness and dedication in making her life there the best it could be. Laura was predeceased by her parents, May and Ernest Poizer; and her son, Ronald Ernest Greyson.

A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held at the St. Clement Anglican Church, Balzac, AB on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura’s memory to the Prince of Peace Harbour, 285030 Luther Rose Blvd NE, Calgary AB.

I'm so sorry to hear of Laura's passing. I sat beside her in the Unit Clerk class many years ago and we became friends. I will always remember how she would knit many things and her love of dogs. I sort of lost track of her when she moved from Coventry Hills but thought of her a lot. My condolances to all the family. Rest in peace my friend.

I know it's been 8 years but I wanted to send my condolences. I'm not sure if your family remembers me or not but I am family as well. Skuli and Marion Johnson were my parents and they have both passed as well I was thinking about Ron today knowing it was the 46th Anniversary of his passing. I had a great time with him during the Summer of 1979 and I never forgot him. We were both the same age. He introduced me to music I still listen to today. Laura Mae welcomed me into your home during my stay and I never forgot her generosity as well. I was surprised to she she had passes as well. Anyways I hope your family is doing well.David Johnson
