Henry Phillip Grabinsky

Henry Grabinsky (Hank/Tim), born February 21, 1926, passed away peacefully in the loving care of his wife Gladys (nee Northey) on December 12, 2013. He is survived by his wife; five children, Dale (Joanne), Douglas, Tim (Marcy), Sherri (Courtney) and Ken (Vicki); eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We would like to extend our gratitude to the kindness shown by his caregivers over the years, the Sheldon Chumir Kidney Clinic and AHS Palliative Team. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Highwood Lutheran Church, 419 Northmount Drive NW, Calgary.

You and your family have been on my mind and I have been thinking of you and all of your family. I know that the passing away is hard to bear but I also know of the blessing of the end of suffering and the peace of knowing that Uncle Henry has gone to a better place and the suffering is passed. This, of course, takes me to the sweet and sad memories of the passing of my loving father who is also at rest.
