November 3,1953 - March 12,2015

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of their dear brother, Peter Jeffery at the age of 61 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his eight brothers and sisters and all the extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcellus and Georgina; and brother, Owen.

Peters cremated remains will be taken to his family home in Georgetown, P.E.I.as per his wishes and a Formal Service and Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held there on Tuesday, March 24,2015 at St. James Catholic Church.

Chris, Pat, Chelsea and Marcella, and to Peter's siblings, there are very few words one can say that make any sense at a time of family loss but please know I am thinking about you. I didn't know Peter a long time but he always greeted me with a big smile. He loved to tell of adventures growing up in a big family in PEI. He loved to describe the landscape and the weather back home. He was kind and generous. Once he heard my car making an awful noice when I was starting it - he insisted on checking the oil - when he saw it was low he jumped in his truck and returned a short time later with oil to fill it. I am so shocked and sad - he will be missed.
