(This Eulogy has been delivered at St. Paul Catholic Church in behalf of my Baby Sister Elizabeth) 2025.07.17 Thursday @ 11amGood morning, everyone.My name is Jess, and I stand before you today not only as her son, but as the voiceof my youngest sister, Baby, who is speaking from her heart all the way from thePhilippines.We are gathered here today with broken hearts—to honor the life of our dearestmother, and to grieve her sudden and painful passing. She was taken from us, in away none of us expected. But even in this moment of deep sorrow, we hold on to thebeautiful life she lived—and the love she gave so fully.My sister wants to share this:"Lumaki ako na may sakit ang aming ama. Bata pa lang ako, nakita ko kung paanoinalagaan ng inay si tatay—buong puso, buong tiyaga—sa loob ng mahigitdalawampung taon. Hindi niya kami pinabayaan. Siya ang haligi ng tahanan. Siyaang nagsumikap para maitaguyod kaming magkakapatid.""Pinag-aral at pinagtapos niya ako. Sinuportahan niya ako sa lahat ng alam niyangmakakabuti para sa akin. Kahit noong may mga maling desisyon ako sa buhay, hindiniya ako tinablan ng galit o panghuhusga. Mahal na mahal niya ako, at ang 3 mgaanak ko. At ramdam ko, hanggang sa huli, ang pag-unawa at yakap ng isang ina."That was our mother. A woman of incredible strength, boundless patience, and quietsacrifice. She carried burdens we didn’t always see—and gave us blessings we cannever repay.Even when oceans separated us, my sister still felt her love. And now, thoughdistance keeps her from being here physically, her soul is right here—with us,honoring our mother with every word.Inay, thank you. Thank you for your strength. For your love.
