Glenn Allan Larson (age 83) passed away on September 27, 2025 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Born in Midale, Saskatchewan and raised on a farm with eight siblings, Glenn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (Regina) with a Bachelor's degree and the University of Waterloo with a Master's degree in Mathematics. He spent 37 years teaching mathematics at the University of Regina, where he was known for his dedication and understanding. Glenn married Sharon Peterson in July 1963, and they had three children, Allan, Melanie and Valerie, and twins Arrin and Angela who died in infancy. He loved to golf, dance, fly kites, do renovations and spend each summer at the lake with his family. Glenn attended and served at First Baptist Church, Regina. He was a kind, generous man who enjoyed his friends and family.
Glenn is survived by his loving children Allan (Christina) Larson, Melanie (Steve) Train, and Valerie (Chris) Ackermann; six wonderful grandchildren, Blake and Carson Ackermann, Evan and Macy Larson, Ethan and Halle Train; brothers Elwood (Lorraine) Larson and Rae (Linda) Larson, brother-in-law Wallace Price, sisters-in-law Helen Larson and Joan Larson, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Edith Larson, brothers Donald, Kenneth and Willard Larson; sisters Inez Price, Wanda Larson and Grace Thompson; son Arrin and daughter Angela Larson.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Regina on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00pm. Instead of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Midale Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
