Evelyn Eileen Gilchrist

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Eileen Gilchrist on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1:22 AM with her two daughters, Linda and Brenda, by her side. She had just turned 90 years of age on April 11, 2021.

Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda Vasileff (Harold Vasileff) and Brenda Calvin (Ron Bale) and her son Michael Schultz (Kathy Schultz) as well as her grandchildren, Calvin Vasileff (Dana Vasileff), Brandi Hoy (David Hoy), Joel Vasileff (Taryn Vasileff), Shayne Vasileff, Jaron Calvin, Jordyn Calvin, Madison Calvin along with numerous great grandchildren, her brothers Gordon Lewis (Jerry Lewis), Everett Lewis (Kathy Lewis), and many nieces and nephews.

She will also be dearly missed by her friends at the Good Samaritan in Spruce Grove.

She was predeceased by her husband James Gilchrist, her brother Arnold Lewis (Cheryl Lewis) and her parents Amy and Bill Lewis.

A Celebration of her life will be held in August or September of this year.

The Family of Evelyn, wish to send a special Thank you to the staff at the Good Samaritan in Spruce Grove, Alberta as well as the Westview Hospice in Stony Plain, Alberta for their wonderful care and compassion.
