It
is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christa Giese on
Thursday, March 8, 2012.
She is lovingly
remembered by her 3 children Tim (Mary Anne), Walter (Leeann) and Kathy; 5
grandchildren Kimberly, Geoffrey, Lindsay, Erin and Taylor and her sister and
brother Alice Foltinek and Hans (Laura) Foltinek.
A big thank you to the staff in the Trafalgar
Unit at the Wentworth Manor for their loving care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later
date.
Donations may be made to the
Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary, 201, 222 – 58 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta T2H 2S3.

Dear Tim, Walter and Kathy, Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We have fond memories of family get together's and visiting your mom and dad in their lovely brick home. Kathy, Tim Walter and families: Our condolences on the passing of your Mother and grandmother. As you know, Fred & Christel (the name we knew her by) where good friends of my parents and often interacted with each other and when my Dad and Fred passed away, my Mom did stay in regular contact with your Mom. Occasionally when we passed by the house, we would make an unexpected stop and make a point of visiting with your Mom. We sent our annual Christmas letter to your Mom and I did speak with her both when Kathy & she lived in Palliser and when both moved back to Lakeview. Last summer, we stopped by our old home and visited with Litzel and had a good conversation about many things including your Mom. Thank you for having shared your Dad & Mom with our family.
