December 13, 1932 – November 28, 2016

Walter Andrew Gibson of Calgary passed away surrounded by his family at home on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 83. Walter is lovingly remembered by his family; his wife, Josephine of 60 years; daughters, Dr. Rhonda Gibson (Matthew Binnie) and Sandra Gibson; grandchildren, Devon Gibson, Stephen Cheng and Tiffany Cheng; great granddaughter, Alice Gibson; brothers, Nestor Gibson and Peter Zypchyn; sisters-in-law, Isabelle Gross and Theresa (Stan) Morgan; and brother-in-law, Micheal (Maxine) Csada.

Prayers and Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 541 Silvergrove Drive NW, Calgary, AB on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church through a memorial fund in memory of Walter.

Josephine, We are all so deeply saddened to hear of Wally's passing. Our friendship over the last twenty years has meant the world to us. We have always enjoyed our annual 'December 13 visits'.
