GERMAN, Gordon Sutherland

Gordon Sutherland German passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the age of 82 years at his home at Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, surrounded by family and all of the Angels at the care centre. Gordon was born November 18, 1933 in Oxford County, Ontario to Spencer and Ellen German. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Joan (Ken); son, Lyle (Gwen) and daughter, Heather; sister, Agnes (Keith) Hutcheson; brother-in-law, Clarence (Guelda) Holmes; sister-in-law, Joyce Holmes; as well as 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Gordon’s Life has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gordon’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. May he rest in peace. He will be forever in our hearts.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Gordon German/Sutherland. My mother, Dolores Sutherland passed this year and it is so hard to see this generation pass.
