Gerald Anthony Vogt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Gerald Anthony Vogt, age 71, who passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at the Pasqua Hospital, palliative care unit in Regina, SK.

Gerry is survived by his children, Aron, Andrea (Dean) and Melanie (Jeff); grandchildren, Alexis, Evan, Gavin, Isla and Cohen; siblings, Neil and Marcella (Russell); as well as many loving relatives, in-laws and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Carmen; parents, Lawrence and Margaret; infant twin brothers, Joseph and Michael; and parents-in-law, Michael and Pauline.

Gerry was born in Regina, SK. He worked for the City of Regina as a backhoe operator in the water works department for over 30 years. After retirement, Gerry and Carmen moved to Spring Bay, SK where they enjoyed their time with family and cherished many new friendships. His greatest joy in life was being a Papa to his five grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent with them. He shared his interest in flying by going on flights with them over the city, along with numerous visits to the airport hangar. Gerry enjoyed cards, bowling, golf and warm vacations. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Gerry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, laughter, and unwavering support.

To honour Gerry's wish, no funeral service will be held. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff at Pasqua Hospital and Santa Maria Care Home for their dedication to his care.

Our condolences to the Vogt family.  We were great friends and neighbours at the beach with Carmen & Gerry.  We remained friends until Gerry's passing.  We had laughter & good times, even the hard times we shared together.  We will miss our dear friends and now Carmen & Gerry will rest in peace together.Bob & Gloria Wrubleski ~ Bob & Gloria Wrubleski

We are so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. We enjoyed our time with your family as neighbors. I would frequently bump into Gerry after he returned to Regina and would spend a brief time catching up. He was very proud of his family. His smile was just that little bit bigger when he spoke of his grandchildren. Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather and a friend to many.Brian, Roberta, Amanda and Christa  ~ Brian & Roberta Belliveau
