Doug is survived by his wife Norma, and his children, Geoff (Tina), Dave (Deb), Andrea, Jeannette (Geoff), Suzanne (Dave), his brother Ralph (Elsie), and his sister Esther. Also surviving are his 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

There will be no service by request. A special thank you to Burnaby General Hospital for the care he received during his last two months. In lieu of flowers donations in Doug's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.

I remember seeing your father walking over the hill, up steep Cambridge St. from his work at the refinery in Burnaby. That must have been in the 1960's As a friend of Geoff and Tina, I send my condolences to the rest of your families. Dave
