Loris Fraser Fowler

With great sadness his family announces the passing of Loris Fowler in Drumheller on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Left to mourn his passing are his long-time partner and friend, Doreen Oliver; son, Sean (Laura) and their children, Austin, Dustin and Haley; Doreen’s children, Jeff (Cindy) Oliver and Susan Maruzs; grandchildren, Jasmine Oliver, Ericka (Travis) Anderson and Logan Maruzs; great-grandchildren, Riley and Zoe Oliver; sister, Ella Connors; and brother, Clair Fowler and his family. Loris was predeceased by his wife, Theresa; daughter, Michelle; parents, Roy and Lauretta; and brother, Marvin Fowler. Loris was a member of Active 20/30 and a long time member of the Drumheller Rotary Club where he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow for service to the club. He was interested in all things rodeo and chuck wagon and paleontology and had a multitude of friends everywhere he went.  A Celebration of Loris’ Life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Church of Nazarene, 627 – 6 Street E., Drumheller, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loris’s memory to S.T.A.R.S., 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7 or the charity of one’s choice
