December 1, 1924 – March 31, 2021

We regret having to announce the passing of Margarete Fischer at the Rosefield Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Margarete was born on December 1, 1924 in Koblenz, Germany to Josef & Maria Perschblach.

In 1951, Margarete met the love of her life Winfried (Fred) Fischer and in 1952 they moved to Wiesbaden and welcomed a daughter, Eva-Maria. In 1959, the family immigrated to Canada and settled in Calgary, Alberta to be close to family.

Margarete is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Eva (Alfred); grandchildren, Jennifer, Thomas (Charlene) and Christopher (Vanessa); as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Anna, Abigail and Alexandar. Maragrete was predeceased by her husband, Fred; her parents in 1973; 2 sisters; 1 brother; brother-in-law; son-in-law; and 2 nephews.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Rosefield Centre for the amazing care mom/oma received.

Ich möchte allen Hinterbliebenen ,vor allem meiner Cousine Evi, mein aufrichtiges Mitgefühl ausdrücken. Meine Schwestern und ich werden Tante Margret immer in Erinnerung behalten. Schade, dass keiner uns informiert hat .
