Louise was born on March 10, 1931 in Sunnynook, AB. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gordon Douglas Fischer; daughter and son-in-law Penny and Bob Heptonstall; grandchildren Shelley and Jeremy Dupont, Stephen and Laura Heptonstall, Crystal and Ned Jivic; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Alyson Dupont, Kamryn and Leigha, Heptonstall and Mila and Lucas Jivic; sister Clara Bogner and brother Albert (Bernice) Engel; sisters in-law Pauline and Alma Engel. She is predeceased by her sons Randy and George Fischer; sisters Dora (Gus) Rust, Mary (Bob) Perry, Susie (Jim) Gerard, Pauline (Frank) Chapman; brothers Jack Engel, David (Leona) Engel, Chris (Cathy) Engel, John Engel, Fred Engel, and Carl (Mary) Engel and brother-in-law Willie Bogner. Interment was at the cemetery in Hanna, AB.

Messages of Condolence

We were saddened to hear of Louise passing! She was a very talented lady and to this day I treasure her crafts, and display them every Christmas as part of our tradition. Our thoughts are with you all!
