Gordon Douglas Fischer was born Sept. 21, 1927 in Hanna, AB. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Bob Heptonstall; grandchildren, Shelley (Jeremy) Dupont, Stephen Heptonstall, and Crystal (Ned) Sljivic; great-grandchidren, Brooklyn and Aly Dupont, Kamryn and Leigha Heptonstall and Mila and Lucas Sljivic; sisters, Shirley Durand and Doreen Waskewich. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; sons, Randy and George Fischer; mother, Frieda Fischer; sister, Melvina Buhler; and brothers, Ben and Ray Johnson. He will be laid to rest in the Hanna Cemetery. No funeral service will be held at his request. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www. myalternatives.ca.
