Todd Ed Feland

Todd was the most genuine kind hearted fun loving brother that anyone could ask for. He battled on and off with Cancer the last few years but battled hard right to the end. He was in pain the last few weeks but he was the most positive person I knew. The goal was to get up and walk again. The jokes and the laughter we had and the visits with mom he especially enjoyed. Todd’s girlfriend, Georgina, made his favourite liver dinner for his birthday, we surprised him by bringing mom, who’s also favourite dinner is liver, Todd’s eyes just lit up when mom walked in. Todd talked about the toaster that was on fire that he threw out the door into the snow, when he was just a little boy. When he put the toaster fire out, the old man caught him. You talked about those days with such great laughter now.

Todd loved to camp, fix and work on cars, he loved to tinker on different projects. Todd would always be willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed his help. He adored his mom and was always concerned for her. Todd always had a positive disposition, it didn’t matter how bad the situation was, he would find a joke about it. I found him to be very intuitive and insightful, a special gift he had. We don’t die, we live on through memories we leave behind, until we meet again bro

He could always made us laugh, we would make fun of each other’s vehicle brands. We made it a full time job burning him about his Chevy, we had to try to keep up to his sayings. He was quiet, but when he did speak it was sharp and witty. He made us smile and we will miss him

Todd loved to go for drives, one weekend we decided to go to Lac LaHash to see my grandparents old place. I hadn't been there for a decade at least. We took a couple of days to get there as we were in no hurry. We stopped at a campsite and blew up an air mattress and set up the tent. I had the whole mattress to myself and he slept between the wall of the tent and the air mattress. Needless to say he didn't sleep well that night. He thought he was sleeping on a rock but it turned out to be my wooden hairbrush. The next morning we continued on our way and once we reached my grandparents property we were walking around stretching our legs. It was a beautiful summer day when I spotted a railway tie and asked Todd if he would pick it up and put it into the back of his truck. He picked up the tie and flung it over his shoulder, as he was walking to put it into the truck, I could see that it was covered in ants. There were thousands of ants crawling all over the place and all over the back of him...of course Todd had a jacket on in the middle of summer...lol...so he took it off. But it was one of my fondest memories of the both of us....I miss him terribly. He always made me laugh...love you Todd Feland

Uncle Todd, from buying your truck; to us painting it. To you towing my car numerous times, to our midnight conversations. To me roasting you because you drove a Ford, you were always there when anyone needing a lending hand at any given moment at any given time. Thank you for everything you’ve not only did for me but did for everyone you’ve come across. You fought for so long and yes you’ve been taken, but the memories everyone has made with you, will not be forgotten. We all love you lots

Todd was a fine gentle soul who had a huge heart, he always had a smile on his face. I will miss him greatly may he fly with the angels

My favourite memory of you is at grandmas house. I can’t recall how old I was but Melanie, Sarah and myself would jump all over you calling you “scary uncle”. Even though we all knew you were just a giant teddy bear with us and of course sneaking us chocolate when we were specifically told, “No more chocolate! You saved my ass on multiple occasions, locking my keys in my car. You’d go completely out of your way to help get me into my car. You would never complain even if it was the third time in a row. You just laughed and said you were on your way. You’d think I’d learn by now! When I rolled my car on the highway you went to look at it for me and convinced me it was perfectly fine. We will get it out and get it fixed up and not to waste my time with ICBC, I’m glad I listened. If anyone needed anything you always knew where to get it, especially with car parts.Thank you for helping me with finding my 4Runner and parts for my 4Runner. I sent both you and Uncle Toby finding a 4Runner on facebook, trying to find the perfect one for months. Only to have you bugging me about my new “lawn ornament” lol. I promise I’ll get her running again. You always found humour in a dark situation, your hilarious facebook posts selected that. I admire the fight you had but I’m happy you no longer have to suffer. Every time I have a jack and coke, I’ll think of you. My biggest regret is not visiting you in time, but I’ll see you again one day but for now we love you and we miss you RIP. Watch over Grandma and Georgina for us

Hey Todd, there are no words, never have I been in utter disbelief, heartbroken beyond eternity. My brother, friend, a son, the most kind caring, quiet, best sense of humour and the laughs we had right to the end. You fought like no other, your family was your world. Your mum was number one. Oh how your eyes lit up when mum was coming to visit. You loved her so, as she did you. Your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, it broke our hearts to see you go but god only takes the best. The pain you were in is now gone. Your one and only wish was not to be a burden, take care of mum RIP. Todd you are free, you are missed, until we meet again
