FAHLMAN, Gerald Joseph

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to this kind, gentle man who touched so many lives. The angels took him home to a place of peace on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 87. He will be reunited with his wife of 59 years, Genevieve, who passed in August 2015. He leaves behind all 7 of his children, Rod (Willy), Ken (Rita), Russ (Angela), Dawn, Colleen (Ian), Leslie (Greg) & Karin (Tony); 23 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Wilf (Doreen); brother-in-law, Ken (Dea); sister-in-law, Pearl; and too many nephews, nieces and friends to list. He will be missed by all who were honored to know him.

A Grave Side Service will be held for Gerald at the Didsbury Cemetery, Didsbury, AB on Friday May 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald’s memory to something that was near and dear to his heart such as The Didsbury Five-0 Club, The Sunrise Lodge in Olds, or St. Stephen’s Parish directly.
