Ann Colleen Enns, formerly of Avonlea, SK, passed away in Regina, SK on January 29, 2022.
Colleen is survived by Art, her loving husband of 60 years; son Brett (Jennie) Enns and their children Cole (Megan), Jayne (Mark), Emma and Ethan; daughter Shauna (Tim) Archer and their children Kaleb and Annie; sister-in-law Naidene Thompson; niece Kim (Eric) Bjornsson and their children Connor, Seth and Joel; and life-long friend Cheryl Harlos. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Mae Thompson; siblings Wanda and Wayne; and special friend Beulah Goby.
Colleen was born in Amulet, SK on January 24, 1941. She was the youngest of three. After her schooling, Colleen went to work and met Art in Ogema, SK. They married in 1961 with Brett and Shauna joining the family soon thereafter. A move to Avonlea lasted for 48 years until they moved to Regina in 2017. Colleen had her life in order led by her faith in God and love of family and friends. She enjoyed the simplicity of life, the wonders of nature, working in the garden and sharing the fruits of her labour over home-cooked meals. Colleen was a hard worker, loyal friend and loving wife, mom and grandmother who will be deeply missed until we are reunited in heaven.
The family is grateful for Dr’s Kurtz, Rediger, Salim, and Johnson; Home Care and Palliative Teams; Staff at College Park II, Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 3A and Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their compassionate care.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Living Hope Alliance Church, 3800 Green Falls Dr., Regina, SK. (livestream at www.youtube.com/livinghoperegina).
