July 14, 1954 – May 9, 2017

Robert William Ennis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre at the age of 62 years. He was born on July 14, 1954 in Castor, AB and grew up in Calgary, where he attended Ernest Manning High School. He later moved to Winnipeg, MB, where he married Gayle and started their family and worked for the Hudson’s Bay Distribution Company. They then moved and settled down in Airdrie, where Robert worked  for Palliser Furniture, Walmart and Canadian Tire. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gayle; son, Jason; mother, Pat; brother, Gordon (Carol); and numerous other family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Ron; and sister, Marg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Tom Baker Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic).
