Elaine Beatrice Weiner

Elaine Beatrice Hendricks, born June 29, 1930, in Kingston, Jamaica, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the age of 95. She spent her first 21 years in Jamaica before moving to the United States. Elaine was a vibrant, creative free spirit who lived life on her own terms, unbound by the conventional moral codes of her time. She was the loving mother of three children: John Charles McCoy, Diana Maria McCoy Mogensen, and Roxanne McCoy Lyon. Her adventurous and unconventional journey touched many lives, especially that of her beloved granddaughter, Laura Henriques Mogensen. Elaine will be deeply missed every day by those who loved her.
